The Plein Air Session this month is Saturday, June 13th, at Confluence Park and Lake. Begin your morning at the peninsula and then see where your journey takes you. Our sessions take place on the second Saturday of each month from 7am until noon. Stop by the gallery after your Plein Air Session. AoM will provide display space for a week following each session; a 40% commission on artwork sales is standard.

What is Plein Air? Plein air painting, from the French term "en plein air" meaning "in the open air," involves painting outdoors rather than in a studio, allowing artists to observe and depict the changing qualities of light, color, and weather in real time.
