Good afternoon, I am officially on a short vacation for a much needed recharge! I will be back the week of Labor Day. If anyone has issues or inquiries feel free to text them over or leave a message with me.

I still am currently very booked up and very booked out with my customer base. At this time spots are extremely limited until about October. I will be freed up a bit more in October through March.

I do have plans to address getting capacity up during the slower season. I want to thank everyone for being patient and understanding. As a one man show I have been working as hard as I can to serve everyone to the best of my ability.

I look forward to seeing everyone when I get back!

All that’s moving in this water is thousands of mosquito larvae. After today’s rain dump out all the standing water you can to reduce breeding sites. Right now it’s the biggest issue I’m seeing.

🦟 Mosquito Update + Vacation Notice

If it feels like the mosquitoes have been especially bad lately…you’re not imagining it! It’s one of the highest activity July and Augusts that I’ve seen in my 10 years of pest management.

The combination of high heat, humidity, and frequent rainfall has created ideal conditions for mosquito activity and breeding. I’ve been finding a significant amount of standing water and mosquito larvae on properties throughout the area, and the continued rain has made breeding-site management especially important.

I’m working hard to make sure everyone gets their scheduled mosquito application at 21 -23 days and before I leave for vacation the week of August 31st. My goal is to have everyone in the best possible position while I’m away.

While I will be taking some much-needed time off, I won’t leave you hanging. If you experience significant mosquito activity or another pest issue that needs attention while I’m away, please send me a text. I’ll keep track of anything that comes up and make those customers a priority as soon as I return.

In the meantime, one of the biggest things you can do to help is dump any standing water after rainfall—buckets, toys, planters, tarps, clogged gutters, and anything else that can hold water. Even a small amount can become a mosquito breeding site.

Things changed quickly on the mosquito front this year. A dry spring has given way to a very wet summer, and over the last two weeks I’ve been finding large numbers of mosquito larvae on properties throughout the area.

Right now, breeding-site management is especially important. After it rains, take a few minutes to walk your property and dump any standing water you can find—even small amounts can become mosquito breeding sites.

With as much rain and standing water as we’ve had lately, even yards with well-performing mosquito treatments can see increased mosquito activity. Reducing the places where mosquitoes can breed is one of the best things we can do to stay ahead of them.

As we move through the busiest part of the season, I just wanted to say thank you.

The recent rain has certainly kept pest activity high, and it’s made for a very busy few weeks. I’m working through calls, messages, and appointments as quickly as possible while giving every customer the thorough service they deserve.

I’m incredibly grateful for the trust you’ve placed in Virtues Professional Pest Control. Your referrals, reviews, and support have made this our busiest season yet, and I don’t take that for granted.

My wife and I are also looking forward to taking a few days away together around the end of August into early September to recharge before we head into the fall season.

What a year it’s been! As you may have noticed I have not posted much recently. As a small update, Virtues Professional Pest Control is currently operating at capacity for many of our recurring services and certain locations.

We’re still accepting new customers, but availability is becoming limited and some services may have a wait list depending on location and scheduling. My goal is to be able to provide everyone who is on a program with me the attention each service deserves. Once the mosquito and tick season ends in October I will have more room for services and will be actively expanding capacity next year. Certain one time services like stinging insect nests and termite do still have availability.

I want to thank everyone who has trusted me with their homes and businesses this season. The support has been incredible.
