Building the spaces where today’s students become tomorrow’s workforce.

Nunn Construction is helping build more than a new facility at the Lewis-Palmer Career & Innovation Center. In Monument, Colorado, the project creates a place where students can connect classroom learning to real-world pathways in advanced manufacturing, computer science, engineering, healthcare, and the skilled trades.

For nearly 40 years, Nunn Construction has built projects across Colorado, including more than 100 education projects for districts, charters, and independent schools. That experience shows in a center designed to support hands-on learning, collaboration, and the next generation of the workforce. The Career & Innovation Center also creates opportunities for students to explore different skills and industries while building a stronger future for the entire community.

We were grateful to provide project photography highlighting the completed spaces and the energy of an active learning environment, with student privacy kept front and center. Thank you to Nunn Construction for having us be part of this milestone and for building a space that makes room for possibility.

Scaling is a team sport.

For construction business owners, growth is about more than taking on more work. It requires stronger leadership, a clear strategic vision, a capable team, and the systems needed to build a business that can grow with intention.

That is the work at the heart of Contractor Academy’s Scaling Program. Over six months, owners and senior leaders take part in hands-on workshops, peer discussions, and one-on-one support designed around the real challenges of leading and expanding a construction business. The program creates space for participants to learn from industry professionals, share what is working, and build relationships with a cohort of peers who understand the responsibility that comes with running a company.

The graduation celebration honored six participants and the work they put in to keep learning, leading, and moving their businesses forward. We were grateful to provide photography for a milestone that represented more than the end of a program. It marked the confidence, community, and momentum that come from investing in the future of Colorado’s construction industry.

The 2026 CAHED Trade Show & Conference brought Colorado’s healthcare-built environment together at Empower Field at Mile High for a day centered on connection, education, and the work that keeps healthcare spaces safe, resilient, and ready for the people who depend on them.

Hosted by the Colorado Association of Healthcare Engineers and Directors, the conference welcomed hospital owners, engineers, designers, product suppliers, tradespeople, and other professionals supporting healthcare facilities. With more than 90 vendors and solution providers, professional development sessions on evolving healthcare codes, and a keynote from John O’Leary, the event reflected CAHED’s commitment to advancing engineering, facilities management, safety, biomedical engineering, and the broader Environment of Care across Colorado.

We appreciated the opportunity to support a gathering that puts collaboration and continued learning at the center of healthcare operations. Thank you to CAHED for bringing Colorado’s healthcare community together and for the important work you do throughout the state.

In the Augusta Room, the hotel created an inviting setting for an annual client reception, bringing together polished details, warm hospitality, and the relaxed energy that makes meaningful conversation possible.

From the room setup and welcoming arrivals to the step-and-repeat and candid networking moments, the Westin team kept the evening moving naturally. Their attention to the guest experience was evident in every detail, creating an atmosphere that felt elevated without feeling formal and organized without feeling overly structured. It was a strong example of how The Westin Denver Downtown brings its event spaces to life through thoughtful planning and genuine hospitality.

AGC Colorado’s 2026 General Contractor Showcase events brought general contractors, specialty contractors, suppliers, and industry partners together for direct conversations about upcoming work, procurement, and the people behind the companies shaping Colorado’s built environment. With GC-hosted booths, and time to connect face to face, each showcase created an atmosphere where relationships could move beyond introductions and into real opportunities.

AGC of Colorado serves as a convener and advocate for the state’s commercial construction industry, supporting its members through collaboration, workforce development, education, safety initiatives, and resources that help Colorado keep building. We were proud to sponsor this year’s GC Showcase events and support a series that creates meaningful access between the people buying out projects and the companies ready to help build them.

What a night!
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to Open Square and helped us celebrate the grand opening of The Unfound Door Studio on Larimer Square. Seeing so many friends, clients, collaborators, and people from across the built industry filling the block was incredibly special.
An especially big thank you to Swinerton for helping make the event possible, and to Little Moses Jones for bringing the soundtrack and making the courtyard feel like an actual party.
