Hi! I'm Kate Gaston, the founder of Perspective Design+Build. In case you don't know me, here's a little about myself... I have a degree in Design and over 20 years of experience in the industry. I have a son (8 now) that keeps me both grounded and on my toes. :) I love the outdoors - hiking, camping, swimming. I guess I also love the indoors - kitchens, bathrooms, any rooms that are designed well and with intention. I bring my love for nature into the spaces that I design - through form, color pallet, repetition, using principals of biophilic design. I believe good design should be attainable to everyone.

To my friend, my client, my realtor extraordinaire, Amy Santin Mancini, thank you for your love and support.

I got to work with Amy about six years ago on her kitchen. It was my first design project under Kate Gaston . We took down a wall so she could cook and entertain (which she does often.) We gave ample, useful storage while keeping it open. We designed a custom backlit w**e nook.

Next, we completely redid her basement. By changing the layout and upgrading all of her homes mechanical systems, upgrading the bathroom and bedrooms, and adding a kitchenette, shared laundry, and (why not?) more w**e storage.

Then, I helped Amy remodel a kitchen and two bathrooms in another unit she purchased.

These are the relationships I like to build with my clients. Trusting, long lasting, and supportive. 💕
