Each year we march to honor the spirit of Cesar Chavez. Following the march is a program including an awards presentation, poetry, art, music, speakers, dancers and food.

The César Chávez Peace and Justice Committee of Denver’s 2026 March and Celebration scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, has been cancelled.

With heartfelt admiration, we honor the remarkable journey of Ysidoro Jaramillo, whose unwavering dedication to love, family, community, and selfless service has inspired a lasting legacy of compassion and unity.

As a example of a lifelong warrior for social change and as a long time CCPJCD committee member, Izzy embodied the spirit of solidarity, marching and working with César Chávez and others and standing in unwavering support of his community, leaving a profound impact on the lives of those he touched.
