Throughout my life, I’ve been surrounded by powerful, fearless, and empowering women. Growing up in a hair salon and pursuing a career where 92% of the profession is female has given me gifts far beyond what I can express in this post.

Today, we honor and support women everywhere in their relentless and ongoing efforts to achieve equality.

This quality is not promised, and currently, it’s under attack. We cannot take for granted the many rights that were granted to women less than a lifetime ago, rights that many of the women marching today have fought tirelessly to secure. It’s a reminder that we can never stop advocating and standing up for what should be guaranteed for all.

I stand in support of my wife and friends who will be marching in Boston today, and the countless others around the world who continue to fight for justice, equality, and the fundamental rights that every person deserves.
