🏁 Detroit Lakes turned into a game board for the night!

Compass Young Professionals took on “The Great DL Race,” moving through the community in teams, cracking clues, completing challenges, and discovering local spots in a whole new way while meeting new people!

Congratulations to our winning team - Chloe + Jacy!🏆 And special shoutout to our brave members - Chloe + Caden - for taking on our Fear Factor Challenge 🪱💪

Huge thanks to our Social Lead, Katie, for putting together such a creative experience, our amazing volunteers, and to the local businesses who welcomed our group along the route🙌

Happy Earth Day!🌎

Our COMPASS Young Professionals were excited to soak up some sun and Spring Into Service today! ☀😎

We rolled up our sleeves and cleaned up the city park before sharing some laughs over ice cream at Hub 41. Our Spring Into Service Earth Day cleanup was the perfect mix of purpose and fun!

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

Last week, our Compass Young Professionals Network brought the energy to Shamrock Showdown at Bucks Mill Brewing! Two teams faced off in a series of Minute-to-Win-It style challenges - bringing the laughs, the friendly competition, and some impressive game skills.

The prize? Delicious personal pizzas generously donated by Zorbaz on the Lake🍕 (worth the battle, if you ask us).

At COMPASS, we’re all about balance.⚖️ We offer a low-commitment, high-impact way for young professionals to plug in. Whether you’re coming for the fun, the networking, or the opportunity to grow, our events are designed to fit into your life while still delivering real value. This session covers practical ways to engage - such as attending meetings, contacting elected officials, serving on boards or commissions, and using city services. By the end, you will have a clearer picture of how City Hall operates and how your voice can make a difference in our community!

We'll have light refreshments and coffee for attendees before we dive into the tour and presentation. This session is free for members!
