Today's offerings; sandwhiches, juice, cookies, pudding and granola bars. We passed out every package. We were down to the last package and hadn't found our friend Michael and I was getting sad. Happily on our last round we found him! After hugs and hot coffee we left him singing, smiling and SHARING with another homeless man that had walked up.

Talk about selflessness. This man, that has literally the clothes on his back, was willing to give what little he had to someone else. We should all use him as an example of how to be generous.

While passing out food we have a conversation with a homeless gentleman named Michael. He was telling us that he'd rather be on the streets because of the bedbugs at some of the shelters. It's really sad that we can't accommodate everyone safely and cleanly. The only thing he asked for was bus ticket so he could ride a bus and get out of the cold for a little bit.
