Why Start A Business?- Torri’s Top 3 ⭐️

1. There was a Real Market Demand:
I didn’t start the StartUP Center on a whim — I started it because the research was loud and clear.

There were NO all-in-one entities offering step‑by‑step, hands‑on guidance from start to ex*****on for business and nonprofit startups. Entrepreneurs were left to figure out the most important part, how to start the right way, completely alone.

Forbes reminds us that a successful business begins with one simple truth: People must actually want and need what you’re offering. And founders wanted clarity, structure, and support. So I built it.

2. Purpose-Driven Social Entrepreneurship was at the core: When I launched, the data was heartbreaking—

72% of entrepreneurs were impacted by mental illness, compared to 48% of non‑entrepreneurs.

I knew this work couldn’t just be about profit , it had to be about people. So we integrated PLAY Therapy principles, wellness tools, and emotional support into our business development process.

Because starting a business shouldn’t cost you your mental health. And entrepreneurship should heal, not harm.

3. Client Experience Above Everything was our key ingredient: Our clients are our proof. 95% report feeling empowered, supported, and confident after working with us — and they refer others because they feel seen, guided, and valued.

Customer experience isn’t just a nice-to-have. It drives revenue, loyalty, and reputation — especially in a crowded marketplace. We built a process that honors the whole person, not just the business idea.

Happy Mental Health Monday!—When most people think of grief, they automatically think of death or the ending of life. But grief can show up in so many forms.

It can come from the ending of a marriage or relationship, the loss of a job, the closing of a business, loss of a contract, moving away from a place you love, or the loss of a dream you once held close.

Grief is not limited to losing a person. It is the emotional response to any significant loss or life change. It can bring feelings of sadness, anger, confusion, anxiety, or even relief. No two experiences of grief look exactly the same, and there is no “right” way to grieve.

Today, give yourself permission to acknowledge any losses you may be carrying. Be patient with yourself, extend grace to others, and remember that healing is a journey, not a destination.

Happy Mental Health Monday: Celebrate Your Wins, Big & Small!

Entrepreneurship isn’t just a business journey — it’s an emotional one. At the StartUP Center, we see every day how courage, consistency, and community shape the path forward. Today, we’re celebrating some of our clients who continue to show up for themselves, their dreams, and their mental wellness.

Your wins matter. Not just the big milestones, but the quiet victories that no one sees. The emails you finally sent. The boundaries you set. The courage it took to ask for help. The decision to keep believing in your vision.

Entrepreneurship can be overwhelming, but celebrating your progress is a form of self-care. It reminds your mind and body that you’re moving forward, that your work has impact, and that you deserve to feel proud of yourself.

This week, pause and acknowledge:
💜What did I accomplish?
🧡What did I learn?
💛What am I grateful for?
💜What can I celebrate today?

Your mental health is part of your business strategy. Protect it. Honor it. Celebrate it.
We see you. We’re proud of you. And we’re cheering for every win you claim loudly.

Thank You to ALL of our clients that trust us with their vision! www.youthnique.com
