We're looking for interest in off-grid projects for cabins or homes not subject to zoning for off-grid systems, ranging in the 3kw-18kw sized array.

If you've a small second home/cabin that is currently not subject to zoning enforcement, you can claim the 2025 30% tax-credit if your project is started in 2025.

If you're subject to zoning but legal for off-grid, we can file your paperwork and begin the process to qualify for a 2025 tax credit as long as the project is completed by 2027.

Logic Phoenix has been steadily working towards a what-works-best solution for NNY installations & is looking for interest in those who would want to go off-grid with a primary or second home that fits the no zoning or zoning possibilities. We do not work on grid-tie systems, although we can help with racking and panel installs and equipment selection -- you'll need to hire a Master Electrician to get the grid-tie system connected after approval/inspection to operate by National Grid.

Most 3kw systems range in the $10K-$14K depending on the project's structure -- everything is about where the panels are going to be placed and what retrofitting might be required.

Larger systems capable or higher output and 220v output are possible and we can install those too!

The 2025 tax credit is the final year to get 30% tax credit on your solar install and be less reliant on fossil fuels and the grid to keep your power running.

This is a good competitor to the EG4 3500W all-in-one Charge Controller at Signature Solar. It provides the same capabilities and the Renogy name and warranty. You can avoid the charges and if you're tax-exempt, the tax, by buying on Amazon and have the option to purchase the Asurion Insurance which EG4 will not offer at Signature Solar in combination with the manufacturer's warranty. I highly recommend the Asurion Insurance if this is your first or second time installing Off-Grid Solar.

This item is ideal for a camper, cabin, or off-grid homestead or tiny home. The panel configuration would be 5 Series Strings of 2-3 Parallel panels generating no more than 10 amps per string and no more than 145v (ideally, 10% less for over-voltage threshholds). The entire array can support up to 4400w of Solar input and you can support up to 330a of recharge on 48v batteries before your maximum recharge is lower than 30% in a significantly-discharged recharging condition.

We're trying some new rail systems for our smaller systems (4-6 panels).

Take a look at Signature Solar's clamp system for asphalt and metal applications.

You'll need 2 end clamps per rail (line) and one mid-clamp peer line per panel added in addition to the rails these clamps mount on.

(Example) For 2 panels in a line with 2 lines (top and bottom) you'll use 4 end clamps, 2 mid clamps (one on each line between the 2 panels) and 4+2 = 6 rails to use with the clamps.

If you have 4 panels and are doing a third line (middle of panel to support snow loads), you'll need 6 end clamps for the 3 lines plus 3 mid clamps per line to space between the 4 panels (9 mid clamps) and that means a total of 6 + 9 rails to pair with your clamps.

Here are the end-clamps for 40mm thick solar panels like our Jinko HH 400w solar panels. If your solar panel profile is 30 or 35mm, there are other end-clamps available at signature solar for those panels.

Solar is really taking off with energy prices set to increase over 30% in most areas this Winter.

We're sad to say a lot of stocked charge controllers and batteries are in short supply and Signature Solar currently only has one small off-grid solution on-hand. It runs a 24v battery solution and has lower-end panel connectivity (2000w), but it can still supply up to 3000w of power from the batteries to an inverter which is ok for short-use, high-power requirements in an off-grid solution (like a coffee maker, toaster, microwave).
