My wonderful husband is so good to me. He listens to my vision and then makes it happen! I have been wanting to try gardening, but I currently rent and didn't want to start a garden. So I asked him to build me some container shelfs, with a bit of a twist. I wanted them on wheels with brakes so that I could take them out and put them in the sunshine, I also wanted a work table and a place to keep my gardening tools. He built it and I painted it with exterior paint. I love it! I will be working on getting my plants planted soon!

Today has been a busy productive day. I started out with some homemade biscuits and gravy, I made my own breakfast sausage with ground turkey, so good. Then I started making some Homemade liquid laundry soap, homemade scent booster for laundry, and homemade dryer sheets. I also prepped some veggies for quick snacks, with nothing going to waste. I dried the scrapes and they will either be used in my compost or powdered to add to my spices. Also saved some roots to try and regrow some of the veggies.

I have decided to go back to my roots. I am finding myself in the kitchen where I have always felt like I belonged. I am learning new skills, canning, dehydrating, finding the alternatives to the additive filled foods that are readily available to us. I would love to bring you along in my journey. So maybe we can teach each other a new thing or two about heathier, more delicious foods and ways of life. Let's do this!
