Good morning DLG!

If you have any obsolete or dead electronics that you’ve been holding on to, this week/weekend would be a great time to bring them out to the landfill.

Early next week we will be palletizing all the electronic waste at the landfill to backhaul out of the community for recycling. Electronics can be dropped off outside the red conex in the northwest corner of the transfer area.

Electronic waste is the fastest growing solid waste stream in the world! Improper disposal can release lead and other harmful substances into the environment. Thanks for helping to keep our community clean and safe.

Friendly reminder: when dropping off e-waste please place the recyclables into the red container van & not outside or near the florescent bulbs or paint. Quyana!

The landfill will be closed 7/4 and will not be accepting fish wase . Happy 4th of July

City of Dillingham Offices - Landfill, DMV, City Hall, Library, Senior Center, Fire Department, Harbor, Dock, and Public Works - will be closed July 4th in observance of Independence Day. The Fish Waste Bin, at the Landfill, will also be closed.

Appreciation post! I have the most amazing IGAP crew! Today they tackled the aluminum can recycling pile, got it all crushed up, & ready for shipment! Great job ladies! Amber, Kaitlyn,& Ema were amazing help for FOL! Quyana!! 🥳🫶🏼😎♻️
