led, salvage, and burned motor vehicles, in addition to specializing in chemical restoration techniques of obliterated factory stamped VIN, PIN, and serial numbers. VIS focuses identification efforts on passenger vehicles, motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATVs, truck tractors & semi trailers, construction/ farm equipment, and watercraft. VIS now brings our expertise and experience into the law enforcement classroom by conducting vehicle theft investigation and identification training to certified law enforcement officers around the Country. VIS is currently contracted by the Michigan Association of Vehicle Theft Investigators (MAVTI) to conduct field training and oversight of the Michigan Auto Theft Prevention Authority (ATPA) Vehicle Identification Technician program. VIS vehicle vin verification inspections can be extremely beneficial to lien holders and insurers as the financed or insured asset can be verified as genuine prior to a loan disbursement or the initiation of an insurance policy.
