Feeling incredibly honored and grateful to share that Recovery Movement Consulting helped United Way of Utah County secure $2.1 MILLION in capital funding through the Intermountain Community Care Foundation Education Innovation Grant — officially the largest grant win in RMC history.

This funding will help expand educational opportunities and supportive learning spaces for youth and caregivers in Utah County through the United Way Community Centers.

As someone born and raised in Utah, this project was deeply personal to me. I’ve had the opportunity to visit these centers, meet the families, and witness firsthand the passion, care, and commitment behind this work. The impact these programs have on children, caregivers, and multilingual families is powerful, and I’m incredibly honored that Recovery Movement Consulting could help support this next chapter of growth.

Capital grant writing is about more than buildings — it’s about creating long-term spaces where communities can learn, heal, connect, and thrive for generations to come.

Huge congratulations to the entire United Way of Utah County team for their vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to families across our community.

Big news for us and Bold North Recovery and Consulting 🎉

A workforce development project funded through an opioid settlement grant secured by RMC for Bold North Recovery has officially been selected for presentation at the 2026 AMERSA National Conference in Washington, DC.

The presentation will feature BNR’s OERAC-funded CPRS Enhanced Workforce Project and was selected from more than 70 submissions due to its real-world implementation, measurable outcomes, and strong data collection efforts.

Since securing the funding, RMC has worked closely alongside Randy Anderson and the Bold North Recovery team to support implementation, strategic data collection, outcomes tracking, reporting systems, and storytelling tied to the project since its inception.

The workshop focuses on how communities can leverage opioid settlement funding to strengthen and sustain peer recovery workforces using real outcomes and lessons learned from this funded initiative.

This is why data matters. Funding is just the beginning. The real impact comes from implementation, evaluation, and being able to demonstrate outcomes that can help shape recovery efforts nationwide.

🏆 Top Score in the State – Minnesota SUPER Grant!!

Just got this message from Carolyn Neische, Executive Director of Will Work for Recovery—one of the incredible RCOs we support and the organization we wrote the Minnesota DHS Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPER) Grant for:

"I just spent two days in a grant conference, and Heidi stopped me when we were leaving. She said we scored the highest in the whole state!! They had an overwhelming response to the RFP. Many, many thanks!"

I started Recovery Movement Consulting to support the recovery community—my people. This work means a lot to me, and I’m proud to play a small role in helping others grow and get funded. We are making a difference. And I’m just getting started. 💪
