Alongside her husband, Brian, and her father, Pete, she has transformed a small family operation into a respected local farm known for its quality produce, exceptional customer service, and welcoming atmosphere. She credits the knowledge and values passed down by her grandparents, who operated Kathy's Place Farm Stand for more than 20 years, for inspiring her passion for farming and community service.

Farren's commitment extends far beyond growing vegetables. She is passionate about preserving local agriculture, educating others about the importance of buying local, and ensuring that fresh, healthy food is available within the community. As you may or may not know this has been our toughest grow year yet - we had to start completely over at one point due to too much water then too much heat 😂🫣Its always something! But anyway, things are finally coming around and next week we will be swimming in peas, beans and new potatoes! Finally!

This week we will have a few things at the Moosehead FAMily Village market including eggs, hakurei turnips, beet greens and maybe even some pickling cukes so make sure you stop in Friday from 3-6 🤍
