Our vision for this event is to bring the entire Landscape and Lawn Care Industry together The event will be completely free for all attendees and vendors.

This inaugural event will take place at the Delaware Agricultural Museum on Thursday, December 8th. Our vision for this event is to bring the entire Landscape and Lawn Care Industry together. We do have some sponsorship opportunities to make this a successful event. Here is the rundown:

Morning:
We will have 2 different auditoriums that will hold between 100 and 200 people in each and we are goin

g to have educational talks from Industry experts, Vendors, business owners, industry consultants, financial advisors, University of Delaware extension and others. The talks will range from 30 minutes to an hour. We will have more round table discussions in smaller settings in the afternoon. Right now, John Emerson will be providing a talk to provide credits for Nutrient Management. Our talks are going to be centered around the future of the landscaping industry, what is coming around the corner and how we can educate and position ourselves in a way to stay in front of what is coming. We will even have a couple of talks held separately in Spanish to provide education for everyone and all employees. Free for all attendees. Lunch:
We will have food trucks available and we are working with sponsors to see if we can get this covered for free as well. Afternoon:
We will have the newest, latest innovative equipment across the industry set up both inside and outside. We will have everything from trucks, to new mowers, robotic and autonomous equipment, fertilization applicator equipment and demonstration areas. A couple of examples are Husqvarna will be performing a demonstration for chainsaw safety, wright manufacturing will be performing demonstrations of their new robotic autonomous mower. This is free for any and all vendors to join. Evening:
We will be holding a network happy hour right next door at McGlynns Pub. All vendors, business owners and presenters are welcome to join, also completely free.

Tracy Wooten will be presenting at 9:30 for 1.0 Nutrient Management Credit. "Successful Landscaping in Delaware"

Join us for a discussion on landscaping practices needed for a successfully planted and maintained plants in Delaware. Topics covered will be site evaluation, soil testing, proper planting, watering and fertilizer application and as well as an IPM Integrated Pest Management. Tips for getting nutrient management applicator certified will also be discussed.
