Today eight people met, four from Columbine, four from Parkland. Almost 20 years separate the two tragic days they experienced. Worth the watch for any of us who know someone who has experienced a trauma. "The trauma doesn't stop when (the) bullets stop."

Saturday marks 20 years since the massacre at Columbine High School near Denver. The shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School north of Miami is 14 months fresh. What do survivors of these twin tragedies have to teach each other?

Today marks the 10 year anniversary of COPES Consulting LLC. THANK YOU to the several thousand people who have attended a TECIP training over the last decade. We all know that trauma can not truly be avoided, but we can continue to be proactive and ready to manage those difficult days by supporting our students and staff who are impacted. Our passion to present this framework is stronger than ever and we hope the next 10 years is as helpful as the last. Thank you for all the continued support.
