At DCJet Services, we proudly support the Borinqueneers Student Association of PRAMI in their participation in the Aerospace Maintenance Competition (AMC). Puerto Rico Aviation Maintenance Institute - PRAMI is a post-secondary educational institution affiliated with the Puerto Rico Department of Education. As the island’s only FAA-certified aviation school, PRAMI is dedicated to training top-tier aviation mechanics.

This year, we are assisting these talented students by providing team shirts and helping them acquire essential tools for the competition, which will take place next week in Atlanta. The AMC is a prestigious international event where aspiring aviation professionals showcase their technical skills, competing against teams from across the globe.
Joe Ortiz, our president, had the privilege of sharing the history of DCJet Services, our dedication to the aviation industry, and the crucial role of highly trained professionals in maintaining a safe and efficient aerospace sector.

Last year, the PRAMI team achieved an impressive 17th place among 86 teams, competing against commercial airlines, general mechanics, military units, and aviation schools. This year, they are determined to surpass that achievement and climb even higher in the rankings.

We are honored to support these future aviation leaders and wish them the best of luck in the competition! ✈️🤩✨🇵🇷

A great quote and a perfect beginning to the story of our company. Founded in 2016, DCJect Services was created to support void with AOG maintenance at the IAD region. We decided to take a different approach from the conventional aircraft maintenance company by analyzing each operators’ needs and customizing our services as required to fulfill and surpass all customer expectations. This allowed us to provide a specialized service to each customer. The performance results were above average.

The next main focus during our initial steps was our team members. We reduced total work hours in the week, created flexible schedules and provided excellent benefits from day one. This was a company created by an aircraft maintenance tech for aircraft maintenance techs to do what they love. Productivity increased on a monthly basis and DCJet took off. In 2017, we opened our second station at Chicago Midway International Airport and are continuing our expansion
