Every once in a while, someone comes into your life who becomes so much more than a mentor, they become a true friend. Mike Lattery is that person.

I’m grateful for his guidance, kindness, and the way he genuinely shows up for people. I feel incredibly lucky to have him in my life and to call him both my mentor and my friend.

Confession:
For a long time, I thought my number one strength being WOO (Winning Others Over-CliftonStrengths) just meant I was really good at talking.
Maybe even a professional-level bullsh*tter. 😂
What I've actually learned it means is this:
Listening well. Reading the room. Helping people feel comfortable enough to be honest.
WOO isn’t about charm for charm’s sake.
It’s about connection, and connection is what turns conversations into relationships and relationships into results.
In sales and marketing, that’s the difference between:
Pitching vs. collaborating
Convincing vs. connecting
Short wins vs. long-term growth
Turns out that’s not a bad strength to build a career on. It's just relationship-building with a sense of humor.
