Last competition of the season for ! My goal was to get her “on top of the hill” at Lexington! I was so anxious, but we did it! The east complex was a little challenging with doors slamming during our debut at first level. But, yet again, we survived! And then won our training level test later in the day.

I volunteered all day Friday. And, on the way home had a wonderful lesson with Emily Donaldson.

Maybe next year we can participate in finals classes?! 🤞🏻. For now I am so proud of our progress this year. Onward 🚀

with a 3rd place finish at finals! With a 70.5+%! Given that this is her fourth licensed show ever, I couldn’t be more proud!

Dressage at Rose Mount 2026 😵‍💫

I can’t thank everyone who offered to help me on Saturday enough…..when my truck transmission dropped and left Luna and I on the side of the highway. We were stranded for three hours while waiting on the tow truck and a spare truck to come get us. I had zero cell service while in the midst of a very bad thunderstorm. It was a sad realization that not one single person stopped to check on us. Well noted.

We got home and pulled our boot straps up to try again on Sunday! It was worth it. She had never been to the show grounds. Considering that, she went into each ring and did the best she could. 2 respectful scores and ribbons to show for it. Pretty dang proud of .

Onward to CBLMs this upcoming weekend 🤞🏻🦄
