Wright Direction College Advising I am a mom of two teenagers and an educator who taught and counseled at both the secondary and post collegiate levels for thirty years.

I provide Holistic College Admissions Counseling to students and their families. Most students and their parents are overwhelmed by the college admissions process. As this can already be a challenging time in that relationship, it is helpful to have another person who is familiar with the application process to take away some of the stress. Valerie has advised thousands of high school students and

is currently a guidance counselor in the Acalanes Union High School District. She enjoys helping students acknowledge their gifts and access colleges that will fit their uniqueness.
