I like to explain ONVA service philosophy with live examples:

Complete overhauls are often necessary to diagnose all issues. I’m not a fan of partial interventions or movement swaps because I can’t be sure of the assembly quality unless I do it myself.

How can we be sure the new factory movement doesn’t have issues? If a new movement was a full solution, this wouldn’t have come in under warranty… with a new factory movement…

Unfortunately, few microbrands are willing to take that approach of complete diagnostics. Our goal is to educate our clients about service philosophy and why we do it a certain way. It’s not the cheapest or the fastest, but our customers are really happy— complete overhauls allow us to offer a two year guarantee.
