Last week was a fun one at Parratt-Wolff! 🚧🏗️
We had the opportunity to put a Geoprobe 7822 to work on a unique project, where the rig had to be craned through an opening in the roof of a building built long ago.
At the peak of the lift, the rig was approximately 100 feet in the air before being carefully lowered into position inside the building. Needless to say, there was a lot of planning, coordination, and attention to detail that went into making it happen.
Once inside, the drilling scope consisted of setting four 6-inch casings and PQ coring approximately 60 feet into bedrock at each location. 🪨
Thankfully, everything went off without a hitch! ✅
There was definitely a fair amount of holding our breath and sweating along the way, though. 😅 That’s just part of the game when you’re tackling some of the bigger and more challenging drilling projects.
Another unique job in the books for the Parratt-Wolff team. Big lifts, tight spaces, challenging conditions — we’re ready to get to work.
