I can finally announce it. We have been working on our own AI system to detect hail. A few key differences between the system that we are building and anything else that exists.

- Open source training methods and transparent training data.

- Trained by qualified and credentialed people from multiple facets in the industry. Reports have names, licenses and how much input (training annotations) that user has in our systems.

- Only accepts high quality images from a DJI Mavic 3 series of drone or equivalent camera quality. We will not put our reputation behind subpar data collection.

- Ethical standards of usage are enforced. This is meant to educate homeowners about the condition of their roofs and NOT to sell a roof or deny a claim. Any bad actors will be denied access.

- No accuracy claims, however this is built to be THE MOST ACCURATE system possible.

We have worked with many entities to ensure this is the most defensible AI model possible to be used by Roofers, Adjusters, Insurance and anyone else as a single piece of truth in an industry that greatly needs it. We want to have a product that all sides can agree in the results to the point of removing physical inspections to determine hail strikes.

RoofHawk is still a close partner and we still encourage their product if you are not using a Mavic 3 or have different usage intentions than what we will require our product to have. We have and will continue to have nothing but great things to say about their team.

We are looking for alpha testers and users. Must have a Mavic 3 series of drone and follow our strict flight profile. Also understand this is ALPHA so we are nowhere near happy with our current state. Hit me up if you want to be included.
