Here is an interesting case referred to us for extraction. This sweet 4yo gelding presented with a lump on his lower mandible that the referring veterinarian quickly diagnosed as a dental problem. Both lower molars were extracted orally and is expected to make a full recovery.

It's common for upper premolars, especially 07s and 08s to cause facial abscesses. They look nasty and smell terrible but usually heal very well after the diseased tooth has been removed.

Here is a case we saw on 2/13/26. The fracture was reduced and secured. The last video was taken on 3/27/26 after removal of the cerclage wire. Healed up great! Nice smile Sparrow!

Found this goober in the rostral maxillary sinus of a 24yo with chronic mucopurulent nasal discharge. Sometimes antibiotics alone are not enough to get the chunks, horse is doing great after her sinus flush!
