SUBTERRANEAN TERMITE Swarming Season Is Here
September is an important month for subterranean termites in our area. This is the time of year when Western subterranean termites can emerge and swarm, sometimes becoming the first visible sign that a home or business has an active termite problem.
And the damage can be incredible.
In this reel, we’re treating a local business where subterranean termites caused extensive damage before the infestation was brought under control. Termites work largely out of sight, traveling from the soil into a structure and feeding on wood from the inside.
By the time you see swarmers, mud tubes, damaged wood, or other obvious evidence, the colony may have already been active around the structure.
Protect your home or business.
Professional termite treatment is about more than eliminating the termites you can see. Proper treatment targets the infestation and helps protect the structure from continued termite activity.
If you notice winged termites, discarded wings, mud tubes, hollow or damaged wood, or anything suspicious, don’t ignore it.
📞 Call Eradipest for professional termite inspection and treatment.

Wasp and hornet nests can grow surprisingly large during the summer months, and attempting to remove them yourself can be dangerous. A single disturbed colony may contain hundreds or even thousands of stinging insects, and they can become extremely aggressive when they feel threatened.

It’s also important to know that nests are not always the familiar hanging paper nests you see under eaves or in trees. Wasps and yellowjackets commonly build nests underground, inside electrical boxes, wall voids, siding, attics, crawl spaces, sheds, and other hidden areas around the home.

We always recommend calling a professional when nests become large or are located in difficult or unsafe areas. Disturbing a colony can result in multiple painful stings and, in some cases, severe allergic reactions.

After treatment, we recommend avoiding the area until the following day. Many worker wasps are away from the nest during the day gathering food and may not return until evening. For this reason, it can take up to 24 hours for the entire colony to be eliminated.

At Eradipest, we guarantee our wasp and hornet treatments and are committed to helping protect your family and your home all season long.

Our fly control programs are designed for high-standard environments like restaurants and food processing facilities.

We don’t rely on just one method—we use a layered approach:

• Baits for targeted control
• Dispensers for ongoing prevention

The result? A cleaner, more sanitary space you can feel confident in.

Let us help protect your business.
