So, if you are a contractor and you do a job for an engineer, then you know that they will be very particular to the job that they want done, as well very critical on the job that you do. That being said if you can make an engineer happy, then I feel like you are doing something.
This job is a perfect example of that. Here we offered a final grade, as well as driveway with a drainage culvert installed. We also bid to put a select fill side with a 57 rock covered side that has the most drainage, and erosion.
We used the dirt, which was select fill, that was on site dug out from the septic tank hole for the final grade as well as for the drip edge on one side of the building. We also used that for the driveway and then had 25 tons of 1 1/2" screened crushed concrete in for the driveway, as well as 12 yards of 57 rock to top it all with for the fancy look. We installed a 12" by 20' black plastic culvert for drainage as well. I think it turned out very well, and to boot our engineer watched the whole process and gave his approval.

We always say repeat business is the best compliment you can get—and this job is a perfect example of that.
When a customer calls you back, and even brings in family and business partners, it tells you one thing: you did the job right the first time. That kind of trust means everything to us.
Tony reached out needing help with drainage issues at his daughter and son-in-law’s new home. The property had a steep grade, and water was running straight toward the driveway—definitely a challenge.
We got it handled.
* Re-routed drainage to move water away from the home
* Built up the driveway with asphalt millings to prevent water from crossing
* Extended the culvert an additional 20 feet (40 ft total entry)
* Graded front, back, and both sides for proper flow
* Cut a slight swell to keep water off the driveway
* Added a curve to improve runoff direction
* Hauled in and spread ~75 tons of asphalt millings for a long-lasting driveway
End result: solid drainage, a strong driveway, and peace of mind for years to come.

When you love your job, these projects are fun! This project was a challenge for a couple of reasons. One was the spillway was running across where the driveway needed to be, and the other being the pond level was way close the house. We overcame those challenges by creating a new spillway, which worked out great, installed a culvert to try and keep erosion a non factor. We had a 108' by 65' house pad that we hauled 470 yards of select fill, compacted and sloped. We also hauled 40 yards of select fill to build and slightly crown the driveway. We then put around 75 tons of 1 1/2" screened rock for the driveway, leveled and compacted, ready for next step of the build. It also helps these being some very good friends of mine!

HE IS RISEN! JESUS IS ALIVE!

A few days ago, it looked like everything was over. Jesus was crucified. Buried. Silent. Hope seemed lost. The disciples were broken. Darkness felt like it had won.

But the grave could not hold Him. On the third day, Jesus rose,
just as He said He would. And that changes everything.

This is not just a story we remember once a year. This is the truth we live by every day. Because Jesus lives, sin no longer has the final say. death is no longer the end. and hope is no longer just a wish, it is real.

The Bible says:

“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.” - Matthew 28:6

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.” - 1 Peter 1:3

So today, as we step into Resurrection Sunday,
we don’t just stay silent. We declare it.

Jesus is alive.
And because He lives… we have hope.

He is risen indeed. ✝️🔥

Another one in the books – Point, TX! 🛠️🌳

We took this project on as a challenge — winding through the trees and dealing with plenty of April showers — but we got it done and made this place pop! 💪

🔹 Installed a new culvert for proper drainage
🔹 Built 2 RV pad sites (40' x 20') and 1 tiny home pad site (40' x 16')
🔹 Outlined all pads with new crossties, squared and leveled
🔹 Added a 10' x 30' storage container pad
🔹 Constructed an 11' x 200' road connecting all 4 sites to the main driveway
🔹 Brought in 90 yards of select fill and 100 tons of 1½" screened rock

This was a fun and rewarding build, and we’re proud of how it came together. Big thanks to the customer for trusting us with your property!

🚧 Project Spotlight – Emory, TX 🚧
We recently had the pleasure of teaming up with Shawn Smith and Ivan Dawkins on a comprehensive project in Emory, TX, and it turned out to be one of our favorites yet!

✅ Scope of Work:
• Removed and replaced 4 existing culverts and installed 2 new ones for a brand-new circle driveway leading to a 30' x 40' shop pad.
• Rebuilt the road from the ground up, starting with 170 yards of select fill to elevate the roadbed by 5" with a proper crown for drainage.
• Added 144 tons of 1½" screened rock for another 5" of base, then rolled and compacted for a solid foundation.
• Topped it off with fine asphalt millings to give the road a clean, finished look that’s durable, dust-free, and eye-catching.
• Leveled the arena lot for proper drainage and added 25 tons of screened rock for a new access road.
• Hauled in 80 yards of select fill to construct a 30' x 40' shop pad.

This was a fun, rewarding project with great people who became lifelong friends. Big thanks to Shawn Smith for the opportunity and the trust!
