With fires across the country growing rapidly, our thoughts are with the landowners who have been affected by these fires. Red Flag warning in effect from 2 pm Saturday to 9 pm Sunday for the region. The impact will be difficulty containing any new and existing fires. Temperatures will be hottest on Saturday ranging from 100 to 110. Although a dry cold front will arrive Saturday night and bring slightly cooler temperatures, gusty winds and low relative humidity will maintain critical fire weather conditions through Sunday evening. Minimum relative humidity during this time period will be as low as 8%. West winds will be up to 15-25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Along the Rocky Mountain Front, west winds will be up to 30-40 mph and have gusts up to 60 mph. Additionally, there is the potential for isolated gusts up to 75 mph along the Rocky Mountain Front.
