Just got home from the goat sale barn and I’m not the same person I was this morning.

Immediately got headbutted by something shaped like a demon and priced like a used Honda.

Every goat was either screaming, plotting an escape, or chewing on infrastructure like it personally funded the building.

Heard the phrase “he’s calm once you catch him” and watched three grown adults fail to catch him.

Auctioneer was rattling numbers at warp speed while goats were arguing back. I’m convinced some of them were bidding on themselves.

One goat jumped two panels, landed on another goat, and stared at the crowd like “anyone else?”

Watched a $20 goat act like a $400 goat and a $400 goat act like it was raised exclusively on hatred and Red Bull.

Someone said “good meat goat” and the goat made eye contact with me like it knew my address.

Left without goats, with less money than I started with, covered in dust, shame, and whatever curse lives in a livestock barn bathroom.

God bless the goat sale barn. Worst place on earth. I will absolutely be back.

Walked into the goat sale barn and instantly forgot my name, my budget, and my will to live.

There’s a goat screaming like it pays taxes and another one chewing on a steel panel like it owes him money.

A child just dragged a goat backwards through the alley while the goat stared straight into my soul and whispered threats.

Someone described a buck as “a little rank” which is sale barn code for this animal will ruin your marriage.

Every goat is either pregnant, probably pregnant, or lying about being pregnant.

Watched a goat headbutt a man, escape three panels, climb a gate, and STILL sell higher than anything I brought. Respect.

The auctioneer hasn’t breathed since 9am. The goats are bidding against us now.

There is no order. There is no mercy. Only hay dust, bad coffee, and a goat standing on top of a pen like Simba.

If you fall down in here, the goats don’t help — they judge.

Left with zero goats, a lighter wallet, and the strong feeling I’ve been cursed by something with hooves and bad intentions.

God bless the goat sale barn. I need a tetanus shot and a priest.
