CONSUMER ALERT PLEASE READ:

Just had a HORRIBLE first experience with newegg.com. They had a gaming laptop (for my son) listed for 419.99. When I went to place my order, they jumped the price $100 without telling me. After speaking with customer service and the management, their answer was that "prices fluctuate all the time". They told me to pay full price for it, and they would look into refunding me $40. So I went to Amazon and bought a better laptop for the same price. Newegg.com will never have this gamer's business again.

A Loki's Flying Circus Review

So while many gaming companies do a great job packaging all included elements in a game via the handy insert included, what is a gamer to do when various expansions are released? When I go to a game night I don't want to have to carry multiple boxes for one game just so the total experience can be enjoyed. That is where The Broken Token steps in. And they recently asked me to assemble their King of New York Box Organizer system.

This is not my first time dealing with TBT product. Six months ago I purchased their King of Tokyo organizer, as I own every expansion and every promo released globally. To my surprise, TBT's organizer not only held every expansion and promo ever released, it did so in a very organized, easy to use manner. I can only hope the King of New York system offers the same.

For those not familiar with The Broken Token's gaming system, they are all die cut pieces of Baltic Birch wood meant to be assembled almost entirely by friction fit. The finished, assembled product is meant to place snugly inside the original box the game was shipped in. I have always enjoyed this setup because while it offers a more organized way to hold the base game and it's expansions, it allows you to carry it all in the game's box versus a generic carrying system.

Well as I dug in and begin assembling, I found the the fits to be flawless, just as I had in other TBT products. The pieces were both tight and firm. It comes with a mobile tray for energy and tokens, and copious amounts of room for monsters, cards, dice, and even expansion cards. New to this setup (vs the KoT organizer) is the inclusion of an acrylic tray lid for the energy and token tray. This not only helps the little parts stay in their appropriate home, but also works as a handle to help you remove the tray for play. A handy little innovation on their part. The entire assembly fit perfectly in the box and the entire assembly took me less than 10 minutes.

So I would give the new King of New York organizer a 10 out of 10. It does an amazing job of being simple to assemble, organizing the box well.
