Please always consult a professional if your vent comes out where you want to add or put something. A hot tub company should have advised the customer not to put hot tub here or to have vent moved . Please be safe and if you see something weird always ask it could save a life . And please don’t add to or modify a vent without consulting a professional.

Just a reminder, it’s about to get really cold for the next 3 to 4 days so turn your thermostats at a normal setting that you are comfortable at when you’re home that way your furnaces doesn’t have to work twice as hard to keep up with the temperatures that are about to come. Please don’t turn down during the day . Leave cabinets open and all doors so heat can circulate.

Hopefully the last cold blast today/tonight! Remember turning the heat up 2-4 degrees will help prevent freezing of pipes ! Open cabinets and keep heat up hopefully no frozen pipes !

With the freezing temperatures coming on hard please keep pets inside turn up the heat a couple degrees in case we lose power. Turning up the heat makes it cycle more often and prevents freezing of heat pipes it’s not a waste of heat once the system is warm! Remember if you have a generator of any kind run where CO will not enter the building and check CO detectors and smoke detectors.
