With guide season swooping back in, we have had a lot of new followers, so I thought we should do another introduction of the faces behind D’Arbonne Lake Guide Service, LLC!

Hi! We’re Nicholas and Madeline Young, owners of D’Arbonne Lake Guide Service LLC. Nick is who you’ll see the morning of your trip, and the one with the knowledge and the skills! I answer the calls, book the trips, and post on our Facebook.

Nick has been “officially” guiding since 2017. It is his passion! I brag on Nick any chance I get, but his repeat customers, raving reviews, and knowledge of the lake and fishing speaks for itself.

We live in Farmerville, Louisiana, home of Lake D’Arbonne. Nick has lived on this lake his entire life, and I am a Union Parish transplant! We have two kids, Ava Kate (8) and Henry (5) and one dog, Abby Lou. Our kids love to be on the water any chance they get, and it is such a privilege getting to watch Nick pour his love and knowledge of the lake into our children.

We are licensed and insured, and continually update and service our equipment, technology, and flotation devices to ensure that you not only have a great time, but that you stay safe doing so.

We will never be able to put into words how appreciative we are of all the support we have had over the years! Our business would not be successful without you. We work extremely hard to make sure you have the best time, and we look forward to many more years of offering you and your family a top notch experience!

The rowdiest customers and horrible tippers! Good thing they’re cute.

All jokes aside, the weather is cooling down, and we took the kids out this morning and caught a good mess of fish in just a few hours. Our books are officially open for fall! We have one more day open in October, and only a few left in November - now is the time to book!
