Brock Construction is seeking a part-time, temporary Lawn Care Worker. Approximately 30 hours per week. May lead to FT permanent position depending on candidate and performance.
Schedule: Monday–Friday (hours may vary based on weather and project needs)

Position Summary
Dependable, hardworking temporary Lawn Care Worker to assist with commercial and residential lawn maintenance. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are physically active, and take pride in producing quality work. The assignment is temporary with the potential for additional work based on business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Mow, trim, and edge lawns using commercial lawn equipment.
· W**d flower beds, sidewalks, and landscaped areas.
· Prune shrubs, bushes, and small trees as directed.
· Remove leaves, grass clippings, and other debris from job sites.
· Assist with mulching, planting, and seasonal landscape maintenance.
· Operate and maintain lawn care equipment safely and efficiently.
· Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials.
· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications
· Previous lawn care or landscaping experience preferred but not required.
· Ability to safely operate lawn mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
· Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
· Valid driver’s license REQUIRED.
· Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively.

Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
· Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and humidity.
· Ability to work on uneven terrain and around landscaping features.

Compensation
· Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
· Full-time temporary position with overtime opportunities as available.

Slow and steady soldering copper up on the Rotunda. Had an extremely hot week last week so we're glad to see a little cloud coverage and cooling temperatures to keep things moving. We'll keep updating photos as we continue our way up to the dome.
