📈 "What is a good conversion rate for online sales?"
It's one of the questions I get asked the most, and the answer is...
👉 It depends.
For many businesses, a website conversion rate between 2%–5% is considered good. If you're consistently converting above 5%, you're doing better than most.
But here's the thing...
If 1,000 people visit your website and only 20 buy, that might sound low. Yet that's a 2% conversion rate—and could still be generating thousands of dollars in revenue.
The real question isn't just:
❓ "What's my conversion rate?"
It's:
✅ Am I attracting the right audience?
✅ Is my website easy to navigate?
✅ Am I building trust?
✅ Am I consistently showing up online?
A strong social media presence helps warm up potential buyers before they ever land on your website, which can lead to higher conversions and more sales.
Don't focus only on the percentage. Focus on creating a customer journey that turns followers into buyers.
