Problem and solution. You can see in the video how sloppy the be**er pivot was when the loom came to me. It was causing problems up top where the race meets the frame. I filled the worn away portion with a maple dowel I had on hand for piano repair then redrilled the original hole. I discovered a witness mark showing me there were supposed to be jam nuts on either side of the worn wood. I've cleaned the rust and greased the metal on metal moving parts. It works brilliantly now.
