Raised in St. Louis MO,
where I found tons of trouble, while growing up on classic rock, rhythm and blues. Escaped to Texas in 1990, I dug my heals into the Texas music scene; shuffling drums beats, whipping up county swing and jamming rock n roll. Rubbed elbows with the likes of Delbert McClinton, Buddy Guy, Clarence Gate Mouth Brown, Caroline Wonderland, Shelly King, Willie Nelson, Tommy Shannon, Chris “Whipper” Layton, Vasser Clemons, and Peter Rowan. During my 18 years in Texas- I racked up lots of live performance and studio time at Arlyn studios, did work with Chet Himes (Christopher Cross), traveled and toured with various acts around Texas and the southwest region. The winds of change blew towards Denver Colorado in June 2010. Jumping in with both feet and a deep dive into the local/regional music scene-a successful run with tribute bands, jam bands, country, cover and original bands, recording sessions, playing music festivals and sharing the stage with many talented artists; I am a solid pocket drummer who feels the energy and shares the grove with his fellow cohorts on stage. Now, In full transition with a move to the Indianapolis area 2022- the beat goes on!
