These little guys always pop up sooner than expected. They are a bulb called crocus, and I planted them under a tree in our backyard when we were first grading for our home. I remember I was just SO excited to make our first place feel homey I just couldn't wait to plant something 😄 This was the only ground I could find that wasn't going to be graded so that's where I planted them... It's funny how landscaping even in it's simplest form can change the feel of a home, make it warmer and more inviting, and make it yours.

Anyone else see these yellow flowers popping up? They are the first to come up in the Spring, and whether it feels like it or not, the ground temp is getting warm early this year. Pre-Emergent fertilizer going out next week! Comment below if you want it on your lawn ;-)

March is Mulch Madness Month!

Mulch is beneficial, because it:
- Helps retain moisture which promotes healthier plants
- Reduces w**d growth in beds
- Adds nutrients to the soil through natural decay
- Adds beauty and uniformity to your landscape

If you think you may be interested in having mulch put out this season, March is the month to do that. Due to the busy schedule during the grass growing months, we are suggesting that you schedule this now. If you wait until April or later, you may have to wait longer for something to open up.
