What an incredible day at The Pape Inc.’s Annual School Is Out Rally 2026!

On behalf of The Pape Inc., we would like to thank every child, parent, volunteer, sponsor, vendor, entertainer, community partner, and supporter who helped make this event a huge success. Seeing hundreds of smiling faces, families having fun together, and kids enjoying themselves was exactly what this event was all about.

A special thank you to our host, Silly Boy, our special guest Smiley the Hip Hop Clown, DJ Fat Jordan, DJ Trouble, our volunteers, event staff, photographers, gaming partners, vendors, and every sponsor who invested in our youth and community. Your support made this day possible.

From the bounce houses and games to the free food, giveaways, bike raffle, music, dancing, and community resources, the kids truly had a ball and created memories that will last long after summer ends.

Events like this remind us what can happen when a community comes together with one purpose: to give our children positive experiences, encouragement, and something to look forward to.

As summer continues, we are already looking forward to serving our community through future programs and events—including another special event before the kids head back to school!

A special shoutout to the City of Flint CVIPI (Community Violence Intervention & Prevention Initiative) for creating opportunities that help our youth build brighter futures.

Summer jobs, workforce training, mentorship, and career development can make a life-changing difference for young people. If you know a teen or young adult looking for employment, job training, or valuable career resources, make plans to attend the Youth Summer Job Fair on June 15 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Mays Senior & Community Center.

Let’s continue supporting programs that invest in our youth, reduce violence through opportunity, and help prepare the next generation for success. Please share this opportunity with families, educators, mentors, and young people throughout our community.

Join us at the Youth Summer Job Fair on June 15 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mays Senior & Community Center! Flint young people will have the chance to connect with local employers, training programs, and workforce development organizations offering resources, guidance, and opportunities for future success. Open to students age 14-19 years old.

🎥 What an amazing day representing The Pape Inc. and the City of Flint!

Today, We had the opportunity to travel to Saginaw and appear on WNEM TV5’s Focus on 5 to discuss our upcoming School Is Out Festival 2026 and the mission behind The Pape Inc.

We want to give a special thank you to Nachai Taylor and the entire WNEM TV5 team for inviting us to share our story and highlight the positive work being done for youth and families throughout Flint and Genesee County. We truly appreciate the opportunity to bring awareness to our mission of empowering individuals, strengthening families, and transforming communities.

While in Saginaw, we also stopped by the Saginaw YMCA and had an incredible breakfast from Merna’s 43 North. The food was excellent, the hospitality was outstanding, and we were excited to learn more about their catering services. We love connecting with local businesses that are passionate about serving the community.

Now it’s time to bring that energy back home!
