My customer had another company replace their older framed shower enclosure with a frameless, but they were never happy with it 😔. They asked me if I could remove it and put a framed shower enclosure back in. Yes, of course we can do that! 😊

🔥 Picked up an order from the tempering plant today!

Glass tempering is a controlled thermal treatment process that significantly increases the strength and safety of glass compared to standard annealed glass. The process involves heating annealed glass to a high temperature, typically around 1,148⁰ F, and then rapidly cooling it with forced air drafts. This rapid cooling causes the outer surfaces of the glass to contract and solidify first, putting them into a state of compression, while the inner portion remains in tension. The balanced stress pattern results in glass that is approximately 4 to 5 times stronger than untreated glass.

My customer's shower was originally designed with no door. They said it was very drafty, so I added this large 36" door. They let me know several days later that they have been extremely happy with it and the way it keeps in the heat. They wish they had done this sooner!
