With the severe cold temperatures coming this weekend the city of Florissant has decided to make the James J. Eagan Community Center a warming center on Saturday and Sunday. The center will be open on Saturday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm. The location of the Eagan Center is 1 James J. Eagan Dr, Florissant, MO 63033.

Please try to stay at home, be patient,. park on the driveway when possible and give the plows room. We have attached a few other resources below if needed. Stay warm, and stay safe, Florissant.

-United Way 2-1-1 is currently active for individuals needing assistance with sheltering, food, and utilities.
-The Florissant Valley Branch of the St. Louis County Library System is a designated warming center during the following times:
Saturday: 9a-5p
Sunday: 1p-5p

St. Louis County also runs a warming shelter alongside the Salvation Army. It is located at Salvation Army Family Haven, 10740 Page Avenue, 63132. The shelter is open 24/7 serving hot meals, laundry facilities, case management services, hygiene and shower access, and phone access. Those who need these services can call 211 for assistance and entry.
