Our very own and unofficial Baldwin County historian, Fred Pierce with Pierce Pest Solutions LLC, was our featured presenter this week, and as usual, he came to entertain.

Fred gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the world of pest control, sharing stories from the field, educating us on some of the more common pests found here on the Gulf Coast, and reminding us that not all house guests are welcome.

Whether it's ants, roaches, termites, mosquitoes, rodents, or any other creepy-crawly critters trying to move in without paying rent, Fred has seen it, treated it, and probably has a story about it.

More importantly, Fred's passion for helping homeowners and businesses protect their property shines through in everything he does.

And then there's BNI @ OWA. 😏

💙 Meghan Sprinkle with Roberts Brothers, Inc. Real Estate — our Vice President and resident force of nature. If momentum could be bottled and sold, Meghan would own the company.

🖤 Danielle Duemmel with Waffles R Wild- The Speakeasy — she serves on our Membership Committee and is the reason none of us have to network on an empty stomach. She's also responsible for those waffle quesadillas that may or may not be keeping this chapter together. (and you too, Fran! 😉)

❤️ Skylar Nelson with Nelson Electrical Services LLC. — our very own Disney Princess. She somehow manages to float into every meeting with enough positivity and laughter to brighten the entire room.

One of the things we hear most often from visitors is:

"Y'all seem like you're actually friends."

And they're right.

We laugh.
We tease each other.
We celebrate wins.
We help each other through challenges.
And somewhere in between all that, we pass referrals and grow our businesses.
