As the leaves change and fall settles in at Fort Bragg, our chapter came together today for its monthly meeting, with a new addition to our council and our two newest inductees, alongside returning members, candidates, and many new faces.

Whether you have been with us for years or are just getting started, there is a place for you. Get involved and bring another NCO and Soldier with you next time.

On Friday, October 2, the Fort Bragg Sergeant Audie Murphy Club inducted two outstanding leaders:

Staff Sergeant Brayan R. Ayllon

Congratulations also to First Lieutenant Barret Boese, recipient of the Major General Aubrey "Red" Newman Award for Leadership.

We extend our sincere thanks to Command Sergeant Major Brendan Shannon, 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Mobile Brigade Combat Team, for joining us as guest speaker, to Chaplain Darrel Davis for the invocation, and to the 82nd Airborne Division All American Brass Quintet for supporting this ceremony.

Special thanks to: Fort Bragg and North Carolina Chapter AUSA, USO, 82nd Airborne Division Association, US Army Golden Knights, and First Command Financial Services.

Congratulations to our newest members for carrying forward the legacy of leadership, service, and excellence.

The Fort Bragg Sergeant Audie Murphy Club held its first Recognition Night this evening, bringing together members, candidates, and their families for a night away from the usual meeting space to share a meal, enjoy some games, and spend time together outside.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it a night to remember. We look forward to more opportunities to bring our chapter together like this.

Our September SAMC Monthly Meeting is this Wednesday, September 9th at 1145 at the NCOA.

This month, we’ll take time to reflect on the significance of September 11th and honor the lives, service, and sacrifice of those who came before us.

We’ll also cover important chapter updates, upcoming events, and announce our new SAMC Council members who will help lead our chapter moving forward.

The Fort Bragg Sergeant Audie Murphy Club held its monthly meeting today, bringing together members and candidates to discuss chapter business and continue planning ways to serve Soldiers, Families, and our community.

These meetings are more than administrative updates. They are an opportunity for leaders committed to selfless service to come together, share ideas, and ensure our chapter remains actively engaged across Fort Bragg and beyond.

Today also gave us the chance to welcome several new faces to the chapter for the first time. Whether you are a member, a candidate, or simply curious about SAMC, we were glad to have you in the room and we look forward to seeing you back at future meetings and events.

The future of the SAMC remains bright because of noncommissioned officers who are willing to step forward, ask questions, and get involved. Thank you to everyone who attended, and we hope to see you again soon.
