There is no hill, I’m literally crawling at the bottom of a very deep valley having spent more time, energy and often my own money than I could ever hope to make back from this.

Do some people make good money from creating social media content? Absolutely- but that’s the exception. Most are lucky if they make anything, and when they do it’s often a few hundred dollars at a time. If your only goal is making money from social media I would exercise caution before diving into it. It can take years of effort before you see any return at all.

Social media for me has been a creative outlet and a source of community. I also occasionally provide some education, which I enjoy. I’d love for it to be a consistent source of income as well but that’s not my main reason for doing it. If I ever make it to that $1MIL mark maybe I’ll find a hill worth dying on and happily share it 🙃
