“How's your business training going?”
Lately, I've come across job postings that caught my eye - they valiantly state, "no experience needed - we will train." This got me thinking, what exactly does this training entail?
Will it be structured or more hands-on?
Will it be tailored to the new employee's existing knowledge or just a generic process?
How will the company or trainer determine when the new hire is fully trained?
And what about updates to software or technology - will employees need retraining?
Since change is constant in today's fast-paced world, these questions have also sparked my curiosity:
Can small companies keep up with such rapid changes?
Can HR ensure employees receive quality training, given their existing workload?
While businesses can write off continuing education costs, how can they be certain they are getting valuable, tailored training?
When it comes to the topic of continuing education, businesses have the opportunity to deduct it as a business expense. However, it can be a challenge for businesses to ensure that they are receiving high-quality training that is tailored to their specific industry or company needs. This is especially pertinent for small businesses. As a business owner, it's important to ask comprehensive questions about the training being offered to ensure that it aligns with the company's objectives and provides valuable knowledge and skills to employees.
After mulling over these concerns, I believe I've found an answer - an educational consultant. Someone well-versed in education and training, capable of developing and delivering unique, tailored training to a company's employees. Additionally, engaging an educational consultant with comprehensive knowledge and expertise in education and training can profoundly benefit our company by providing customized and targeted training solutions to address our specific needs and concerns. This approach will undoubtedly contribute to the professional growth and development of your employees, ultimately enhancing the overall productivity and efficiency of your organization. And I have the ideal consulting firm in mind to get you started . . . Intí Educational Consulting.
