The hate level in America has risen ever since Trump was nominated the first time and started campaigning. He has been marinating in the Fox News and Limbaugh rhetoric of outright lies disguised as questions, deflection, projection, and assaulted with fear-mongering tactics for decades. That coupled with his malformed and over inflated ego, lack of any real morality, and never truly being held accountable for his wrongdoings, and his dad's method for using the legal system as their personal tax-payer funded strong arm made being an American, for the first time in my life, nigh untenable. I was ashamed of my fellow citizens that were completely duped by the mouthpieces of the ultra-wealthy into believing those who are fighting for us are fighting against us. And into believing that those who have lived in the 'top elite' class of America all their lives actually CARE about the welfare of the regular, everyday blue collar worker and their family.
These elites have never and will never really know the struggles that most Americans face in their daily lives or having any sort of first-hand experiences that could even compare to the hardships that all-to-often befall the working class multiple times throughout their lives. How could they ever truly have any sympathy for the working class?
They believe that a hard day's work involves laying down proverbial landmines to prevent the working class from ever advancing to a point of realization. If we stopped fighting among ourselves for just 24 hours, educated ourselves with science-backed, factual knowledge, and saw every blue-collar worker as our neighbor rather than the 'enemy'—as the far-right has encouraged us to do by sowing division and hate—we could put a serious strain on their pampered, luxurious, burden-free lives. These lives have been made possible only because their predecessors built systems to funnel wealth from the lower and middle classes to the elite, while keeping the rest of us willfully ignorant and blind to the truth. They've done this by poisoning the wells of knowledge with propaganda designed to prey on our fears, insecurities, and extreme emotions, which overwhelm our logical reasoning.
I'm not alone. Neither are you. There are an incredibly greater number of citizens in this country that are already with us in these realizations. Do not give in to fanning the flames of hatred, intolerance, bigotry, racism, and misogynistic views. When your neighbor shows signs that they may be under the influence of the elite's propaganda machines, do not hate them for it. Please take the time to understand them, personally and as an individual. Figure out the root reasons why they might wish so strongly to believe in the lies, and do not be tempted to label them, denigrate them, or bait them. That is the other shoe falling. That is, by design, how they create the division and grow the hatred among the masses. We are tempted to think we are the ones that are blameless, but in reality, we are able to see through the cracks in the propaganda machines and discern the truth and thus we are not led to the extreme emotional compromisations the ones who are duped are led to. But it doesn't end there, be careful not to allow your mind to believe that one, either. Because now they've created in our cherished friends and dearly loved family members a new 'attack dog' that has been conditioned and trained to personally attempt to force us into submission because they now believe we are the enemy and that we are against them and their values -- which couldn't be further from the truth, but they don't understand that yet. Rather than allow these poor deceived individuals to deliver the final piece of their agenda - causing us to feel so overwhelmed with emotion, overriding and abandoning reason and logic ourselves. Which only leads to heated arguments, hurt feelings, emotional wounds and scars, greater isolation and by proxy, greater division. We should be focused on reconnecting, reuniting, and respecting ourselves and our fellow citizens.
I own my part in it. And I am deeply regretful and ashamed that I indirectly played right into their hands in the past. I will never again choose to hate a 'Trumper', instead I will choose sympathy, tolerance, have an open-mind, and be willing to listen and arm myself with provable knowledge that can put more cracks in those propaganda installed beliefs. The more light they can see through those cracks, the faster they will be able see their part in it, too. Then they can come to terms with the fact they're actively being used by greedy, uncaring, and ludicrously well-off 'bad actors' only in it for themselves and living a life of luxury -- like how they got so many rural Americans into believing that people on unemployment, welfare, disability, or social security are just lazy loafers mooching off society... it's like that vision they created, but the lazy loafers really mooching are these elites... and in time they'll come to see that the sheer magnitude of what they're leaching from the working class makes welfare, disability, and social security look like pocket-change.
