Still thinking about yesterday morning.

Coffee & Clarity at The Roasting Route, 9am, three women business owners with me around one table. Good coffee, great atmosphere, no agenda. Closing out what's honestly been the most encouraging week for Oak & Co. since I launched a little over 8 months ago, and this was a big part of why.

One started a new business two weeks ago. One is about a year into a brand new career. One has run hers for fourteen years. And every single one of them wanted the same thing. Just a real conversation with people who get it.

At one point the conversation turned to what it actually costs a business when trust breaks down. Not in theory. Real clients, real damage to a reputation that took years to build. The room got quiet.

Here's what I keep thinking about today. Trust isn't built in the big moments. It's built in the boring ones. The follow-up email you actually send. The thing you said you'd do, that you... do.

I love these mornings so much.
