Finding the source of a leak is about more than stopping the water you can see.

In this case, the paint looked fantastic. The baseboards were still straight, clean, and white as the day they were installed. From the outside, there was almost nothing to suggest what was happening behind the wall.

But a slow, persistent leak had been quietly feeding moisture into the drywall, leaving something brewing out of sight. Once the affected material was opened up, we found extensive discoloration and what we suspect to be mold growth on the backside.

This customer had one of the worst kinds: a tiny, persistent leak just beneath the surface. No puddles. No obvious dripping. Nothing visible to point you toward the source until the damage had already started spreading.

The leak was so small it could only be heard using specialized acoustic equipment.
