Who here is sending a Marketing Pro “What to Expect” email immediately after a CSR books the job, and includes Club Membership brochure or benefit details as part of that follow up?

Yes, CSRs should be setting expectations verbally on every booking.
But strong operations do not stop at the phone call.

After the job is booked, customers should receive a follow up that:
Reconfirms what will happen next
Sets arrival, communication, and service expectations
Visually reinforces professionalism and trust
Reintroduces Club Membership benefits in a clear, non pushy way
This creates alignment between what was said on the call and what the customer experiences next. It reduces confusion, prevents day of surprises, and increases membership familiarity before the technician ever arrives.

Audible clarity on the phone.
Written and visual clarity in follow up.
Consistent experience every time.
And after the job runs complete- a Thank you email and a Happy Call...

Reported cost in the system: $0.00

Why?

Because the Pricebook had:

No material costs entered

Labor sold through a MISC item with zero sold hours

No labor burden applying

Materials treated as free because cost fields were blank

So the dashboard looked incredible.
Cash flow felt tight.
Capacity felt strained.
And leadership had no idea why or what is going on.

This is how companies convince themselves they are profitable while slowly bleeding margin.

If your materials have no cost in Pricebook, you do not have proper job costing.
