Spent the day immersed in riparian science at the Texas Riparian & Stream Ecosystem Workshop hosted by Texas Water Resources Institute at Falls Ranch in Granbury
We explored the critical role of watershed management, the importance of healthy riparian vegetation, and practical strategies for restoring and protecting our stream ecosystems. These landscapes are the lifelines of our communities- supporting water quality, wildlife habitat, and long-term resilience.
Grateful to learn alongside and connect with professionals from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Collaboration across these sectors is exactly what it takes to build stronger, more connected conservation efforts across Texas.
Bringing these insights back to NatureLinks as we continue working toward healthier habitats and connected landscapes in North Texas. 🌱
