They can overheat over time and cause damage—think of them like a temporary band-aid, not a long-term fix.”

Here’s another interesting fact from Dustin, our presenter of the week with K3 electric

“Homes used to use Aluminum wiring!
In the 1960s–70s, some homes used aluminum wiring instead of copper to save money. Over time, it became known for overheating and causing fires if not properly maintained.”

Don’t let overheating aluminum wiring be a cause of a major issue. Get an inspection and get a piece of mind soon!
